The sauce for this dish has such a strong and savory flavor thanks to the raw onion. It's important to know that raw onions and garlic have powerful properties that are highly beneficial to health. These include cancer prevention, lowering blood pressure and as well as being high in vitamin C and folate making them a great tool in the prevention of illness.

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 Cod fillets
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place the fillets in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth. Fine pieces of onion may remain.
  4. Remove the cod from the oven and spoon your sauce over the fish liberally.
