JUICED APPLE CIDER
JUICED APPLE CIDER
Serves: 2-4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ready In: 20 minutes
Accommodates: PHASE 1
When you just really need the house to smell like spiced apples, this cider is a solid direction to go.
It's a tradition in our house that on the first day we take our our Halloween decorations (which let me tell you is painful to hold off on) I make this apple cider. Oh it's so good and really sets the tone for the new upcoming season. Juicing is also an outstanding way to get the nutrients pumping through the body.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 large Honeycrisp apples, quartered
- 1 orange, peeled
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 whole cloves
- Pinch nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
- Juice the apples and orange in a juicer, I use Breville and love it! Place the juice in a medium-size pot over medium heat. Add the cinnamon sticks, cloves and a pinch of nutmeg. Once the liquid comes to a low boil reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove the cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and enjoy! Makes about 3 cups.
