I'm basically freezing for the entirely of winter, so you'll often find me with a hot drink in hand to ease the laborious cold.  Our family loves this healthy hot cocoa recipe and I hope you love it too!


INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 4 cups almond milk

DIRECTIONS
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cacao powder, sugar, water, and salt over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the milk.
  4. Remove from the heat, pour into mugs, and serve immediately.
