This was one of the first SCD recipes I came up with for my son many years ago in an effort to replace his beloved morning oatmeal. It is so fast, simple, delicious and grain free. Just be aware that the texture here is definitely different than anything you might be used to due to the coconut flour, but the bananas make it sweet enough to satisfy a morning sweet tooth.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 2 Tbsp coconut milk
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 Tbsp honey (maple syrup for vegan)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- In a small pot bring the water to boil over medium-high heat. Whisk in the remaining ingredients until combined. Garnish with drizzled honey, coconut sugar, sliced fruit, or chopped pecans.
