GARLIC CROUTONS

GARLIC CROUTONS

Switch up your salad game than with some delicious homemade croutons. These are of course grain free and bursting with garlic goodness! 

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2/3 cups coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat your oven for 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the eggs, ghee and garlic with an electric mixer. Add in the coconut flour and spices. Mix until combined. Dough will be slightly crumbly.
  3. Drop the dough onto the parchment paper and form into a square or rectangle that is 1/2 inch thick. I used a large rubber spatula to do this. Sprinkle with additional sea salt.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. 
  5. Remove from the oven and slice into 1/2 inch cubes. Separate and spread around the baking sheet. Bake for another 15-20 minutes depending on desired crunch.
