This refined sugar free cranberry sauce is truly delicious! My 5 year old was eating it like it was applesauce! Atta’ girl.
I remember growing up I hated cranberry sauce but that’s probably because it was the gelatinous canned sort, nothing like this fresh beautiful bowl of superfood.
You can also easily can this for a longer shelf life allowing you to enjoy it beyond the Holidays. This sauce is great along side a Thanksgiving bird or rolled into this tasty chicken recipe.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup honey (maple syrup for vegan)
- 3 cups fresh cranberries (or 1-12 oz bag)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium saucepan, over medium heat bring the orange juice, lime juice and honey to a low simmer. Add in the cranberries, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cover partially and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and press on the mixture with a potato masher until all cranberries are smashed. Transfer to a glass bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready for use. It is delicious served warm or cold.
