INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium saucepan combine coconut sugar with 1/4 cup of water over medium-high heat. Whisk together then cook without stirring until the mixture has turned dark brown and is rich in fragrance, about 2-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Whisk in the coconut milk, oil and salt.
- Serve warm or allow to chill for a thicker sauce.
