INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups walnuts, halved
- 2 egg whites, whisked
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the walnuts in a medium size bowl. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the eggs then add the honey, cinnamon and salt. Continue whisking until combined. Pour the wet mixture into the walnut bowl and toss until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread out the walnuts into an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, tossing every 20 minutes.
