INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Flaked sea salt
DIRECTIONS
- Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized pot over medium-high heat, bring the honey and oil to boil. Immediately reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and mix in the almond butter and 1/4 tsp of salt with an electric mixer. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Spread evenly and sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
- Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until caramels are set well enough to cut and hold their shape. Cut into small desired shapes and sizes.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
